Writing in Public - Year 1, Month 9, Days 24-31

Michael Salsbury

My adoption of Dean Wesley Smith's Writing in Public challenge continues.

My performance in August was the worst of the entire challenge.  My total word count for the month was 13,530 words - an average of 436.5 per day for the entire month.

I could certainly make excuses.  My wife was injured and needed my help for a while.  Things at work were unusually busy, and I put in a lot of extra hours.  Ultimately, though, I just didn't motivate myself to write.

So below is how everything worked out for August 2015.

Blogging and Journaling:
  • Begin Brewing: 8,070 words
  • Columbus Beer Scene:  1,298 words
  • This Blog: 1,541 words
  • Journaling:  2,703 words

THIS MONTH - TOTAL WORDS: 13,530 (avg. 436.5 per day)
