Writing in Public - Year 1, Month 7, Days 1-7

My adoption of Dean Wesley Smith's Writing in Public challenge continues.

This week begins Month 7 of the challenge.

On Monday I managed to write a short journal entry (165 words) and some opening lines (292 words).

Tuesday, I wrote a post for Begin Brewing (588 words) and a journal entry (434 words).

Wednesday, I wrote some discovery work for the ASL Mimas Object story (1483 words), a short Columbus Beer Scene post (81 words), and a journal entry (873 words).  I also began attending the Origins Game Fair at the convention center.

Thursday, I wrote another bit of discovery work for the ASL Mimas Object story (980 words).  I also attended two good writing seminars at Origins, which will probably result in articles for How to Write Fiction in the coming week.

Friday, I stayed home and brewed a beer.  This gave me material and photos to write a product review (504 words) for Begin Brewing and a walkthrough of brewing a beer using a Brewer's Best kit (2096 words).

Saturday I was back at the convention and attending seminars and panels on writing.  I didn't accomplish any significant writing, but did capture my seminar notes in Evernote for later use.

Sunday I attended the 20th Annual Meet the Brewers event at Barley's Ale House across from the convention center.  I had the opportunity to meet most of the major professional brewers in town and talk with several of them.  This resulted in a 560-word post for Columbus Beer Scene.  I also wrote a journal entry covering most of the week (697 words).
