Last month, which ended on Thursday, saw me writing over 45,000 words. That's less than the record of 56,486 words written in March, or the previous record of 47,660 in February, but still a decent achievement for a guy who spent a week of the month having and recovering from surgery. While I'd like to have managed a new record word count (and I did, for a week in there), I'm reasonably happy with what I did.
This month, I'd like to see that word count improve. I'd especially like to see it go up in the area of the fiction writing. That's my long-term goal and I need to be moving more toward it. Reading about fiction writing and brainstorming isn't going to get me there.
On Friday and Saturday, I wrote nothing - not even a journal entry.
On Sunday, I managed a journal entry (356 words), and 7 opening lines (194 words), and a post about using malt extract in home brewing for Begin Brewing (597 words), and this post (180 words). Not a great daily word count, but decent (1,327 words).
