Mom's Thimble Cookies

Michael Salsbury
1 cup butter
1/2 cup confectioner's sugar
4 egg yolks
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
jam or jelly

Cream butter and sugar
Add yolks and vanilla until light and fluffy
Stir in flour.
Chill if necessary.
With floured hands, roll 1" balls.
Use a floured thimble to make a dent in the cookie.
Fill the dents with jam or jelly.

Bake at 325 for 25 minutes.
